There are two types. Caleca Petali is in the pottery classs of China and is more fragile. Caleca Pinzon is in the class of stoneware and is more durable. If your baking dish has no hole in the bottom (looks like a toothpick inserted) read no further.If it does- it is double walled and should be hand washed with care taken to ensure that water does not enter the cavities inside.
