Trying to boil water for pasta over medium heat is gonna take some time, huh? But as soon as I turned it on to make a grilled sandwich I realized why. This has "old school Teflon". Rarely is this ever used anymore. It was found maybe 10 years ago that the Teflon they were using created a smoke that was toxic and even killed any birds in the house.
