I decided that I don't want to spend a lot of money on a non stick pan anymore since I rather change it every 2 yrs. This pan does its work and I'm still careful in washing and not using non-stick spray which is a big no no for any pan with coating.
Overall the 1 less star is for the chip handle look which does not affect function of the pan at all.

This pan was great for a few weeks. However, it has only been a few months and now it is not non-stick at all, EVEN with shortening or spray oil. If you love eggs that stick to your pan for breakfast, this one is for you. I have taken proper care of it, never cooked over a setting higher than medium, and have used plastic spatulas. The pan itself still looks nice but it is definitely not non-stick anymore. I have a higher-end brand name non-stick pan that I've had for over a year and it still works much better than this Beka one.
